GpreseasonG pro/Knights, not happy with the offense run/pass mix, 52/12, smh. Tried changing HCs, but no effect still. Dont know what the algorithm/code is for how the auto coach selects the plays, one of the reasons I dont like RO. And the constant use of the fn GL offense runs, horrible!

Looks like there's about as much interest in this thread as a savings account, which is not much. Anyone else enjoy watching your RO game and your coach calls a GL inside run on 3rd & 10? Just like what would be called in the NFL! The way RO is in MFN is a waste of time. The combination of the HC & OC/DC should determine the type of offense and defense that you want run, pass oriented, balanced, and run oriented for offense, and heavy blitzing, balanced, pass focused, and run focused for defense. Should also have preference, same as Run/Pass key, where you set your sliders for play type based on down, yardage to go, and field position. No rules needed, but would be nice to have a setting to go for it on 4th down based on conditions, field position, score. And kicking setting, so you dont have a weak kicker trying to hit a 60 yarder. If you agree, let JDB know, post in MFN1 or send him a PM.

I'll admit It would be nice to have some things we could control like you said. The HC can make some very frustrating decisions sometimes. But as long as everyone has the same restrictions it's fair for everyone. Just build the best roster you can and you'll win a lot of games. HC matters a lot to determine if you call a run or pass more often. Not every coach with a with the same style will call it the same. If you just can't stand the way your coach calls it. Just get another I've noticed that a coaches ratings don't seem to have an impact on much of anything so a low rated coach is just fine especially during the season. But the largest factor deciding if you will run or pass is if you are winning or losing. If you are winning you will run most often if you are losing you will pass most often. You've been winning a lot of games because you have a good roster so you will run the ball a lot if you are ahead no matter the HC.

I could ask my league Ultimate Legends Roster Only if they want to have some small things they could control like you mentioned, since it's the most active roster only league. I think everyone can be a little frustrated at times with play calling. It might be nice to have some set it and forget it rules the coaches could follow but then again I think the idea is to have it the same for everyone. Whoever builds the best roster wins.

One thing that bothers me as an admin is that the block plays doesn't work for roster only. Some plays just don't work for anybody. If an offensive play averages negative yards I want to be able to block it like the other leagues. The block plays section is there but I never told JDB it doesn't work for roster only. The new website needed a ton of work last time I thought about it so I didn't mention it then as he had bigger problems to fix.
